Release Notes: New Features

The following new features have been added for Web app, Android app and iOS app.

  1. New: Options for memo duplication
  2. New: Search command for minimized memos

And the following new features have been added for Android app and iOS app.

  1. New: Minimize the memo
  2. New: Fold the section
  3. New: Passcode lock
  4. New: Font size settings
  5. New: Summary style settings
  6. New: Sleep mode settings

And the following new features have been added for Android app.

  1. New: Line height settings
  2. New: Startup settings

The new version code of Android app is 1.5.0. And the new version code of iOS app is 1.2.0. Check the updates from Play Store and App Store.

Options for memo duplication

The following options have been added for the memo duplication feature.

  • Set the date as today
  • Set to no stars
  • Set to no tags
  • Set to no lists

The memo duplication is useful for creating the fixed phrase memo like the template of diary or meeting logs.

For example, create the list "Template", and create the template memo in the list.
When you want to create the new memo with the template, just duplicate the template memo with the option "Set to no lists".
The new created memo will not be contained in the "Template" list.

Web

In the Web app, click the triangle mark on the right of the "Duplicate Memo" menu.

Android / iOS

In the Android iOS app, tap the "Duplicate Memo" menu.

Search command for minimized memos

The following search command have been added.

Minimize the memo (Android / iOS)

You can minimize the shape of the memos in the memo list screen. Like this:

You can minimize the shape of the memos you have no need to see already.
You can also view and edit the minimized memos. They are just only minimized.

To minimize the memo, long-tap the memo you want to minimize in the memo list screen.
Tap the menu "Minimize", and the memo will be minimized.

To extract the minimized memo, long-tap the memo also. Tap the menu "Extract", and the memo will be extracted.

You can make less noticeable the minimized memos in the memo list screen.
Tap the "Settings" menu in the bottom right of the memo list screen. In the settings screen, check on the item "Mute Minimized Memo".
When you check on the setting, the minimized memos will be less noticeable in the memo list screen.

Fold the sections (Android / iOS)

You can fold the section and hide the body of the section. Like this:

To fold the section, tap the section you want to fold in the memo screen.
Tap the menu "Fold", and the section will be folded.

To unfold the folded section, tap the section also. Tap the menu "Unfold", and the section will be unfolded.

Passcode lock (Android / iOS)

If you set the "passcode" to the app, the passcode lock screen is displayed at the time of starting the app always.
You can protect your memo from others.

To set the passcode, tap the menu "Settings" in the bottom right of the memo list screen.
In the settings screen, check on the item "Passcode Lock".
Enter the 4 letters passcode. Enter it twice.

If you set the passcode, the app will require the passcode always when the app starts.
If you forgot the passcode, please sign out and sign in again.

To unset the passcode lock, check off the item "Passcode Lock" in the settings screen.

Font size settings (Android / iOS)

You can change the font size of the app.

To change the font size, tap the menu "Settings" in the bottom right of the memo list screen.
In the settings screen, change the value of "Font Size".

In the initial setting, the font size is "14".

Summary style settings (Android / iOS)

You can change the style of the memo summary in the memo list screen.

Tap the menu "Settings" in the bottom right of the memo list screen.
In the settings screen, change the following parameters.

Summary Lines
The max lines for the summary text. In the initial setting, it is "4".
Summary Characters
The max characters for the summary text. In the initial setting, it is "-" in the Android app and "140" in the iOS app.
If you set to "-", the max characters will be unlimited (within the limits of the max lines).
Show Images In Summary
Specify whether the preview images display. In the initial setting, it is on.

Sleep mode settings (Android / iOS)

Normally in the Android / iOS, the OS will turn into sleep mode if you didn't do any operations. You can block the sleep mode when you use the colocolomemo app.
It is useful for the case while you do any task with viewing some contents in the mobile device (e.g., Cooks while viewing the recipe in the device).

To change the sleep mode settings, tap the menu "Settings" in the bottom right of the memo list screen.
In the settings screen, check on/off the "Disable Sleep Mode".

Line height settings (Android)

(Note: This feature is not for iOS)

You can change the line height of the text in the memo screen.

To change the line height, tap the menu "Settings" in the bottom right of the memo list screen.
In the settings screen, change the value of "Line Height". In the initial setting, the line height is "1.0".

Startup settings (Android)

(Note: This feature is not for iOS)

When you start the app, the list "All Memo" will be displayed. You can change this as the last viewed list will be displayed when the app starts.

To change this, tap the menu "Settings" in the bottom right of the memo list screen.
In the settings screen, change the item "Show Last Viewed List".
